Experimental. Not for flight planning or navigation. TAF Traker is a test product that studies how aviation forecasts compare with what actually happened. It is not an official source of weather information. Always get an official weather briefing (for example from Flight Service or aviationweather.gov) and make your own decisions as pilot in command.

Experimental product

TAF Traker is provided by Zepto Omnitech, LLC for testing and evaluation. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.

Use at your own risk

You use TAF Traker entirely at your own risk. Do not rely on anything it shows for flight planning, navigation, dispatch, or any operational, safety, or financial decision.

Weather data

Forecasts, observations, model guidance, radar and satellite imagery are obtained from, and shown as published by, U.S. federal agencies, including:

the National Weather Service (NWS) Aviation Weather Center: TAFs, METARs and station information;
NOAA's Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System (MADIS): 5-minute ASOS observations;
NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP): GFS MOS guidance and MRMS radar;
NOAA nowCOAST: GOES satellite imagery.

That data may contain errors or gaps, and may reach TAF Traker late or not at all. Everything TAF Traker derives from it (verification scores, "below forecast" flags, trends, clusters, and statistics) is produced by this software and may be wrong. TAF Traker is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA, the NWS, or the FAA.

No warranty

TAF Traker and all information it presents are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zepto Omnitech, LLC and its members, employees, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from or related to TAF Traker, the information it presents, or your use of or reliance on it.
